How to Transition to Fall Makeup

The leaves are changing colors and the temperature is dropping, which can only mean one thing: Fall is here! With the change of seasons comes a change in fashion, and that includes makeup. Here are some tips on how to do your makeup for fall.

#1 rule of fall makeup is to never forget the SPF! Just because the weather is cooling down doesn't mean the sun's harmful rays aren't just as intense. Be sure to use a foundation or BB cream with at least SPF 30 for everyday wear.

For a natural look that will still give you some coverage, go for a tinted moisturizer or CC cream. These products will help even out your skin tone while keeping your skin hydrated. Just be sure to set it with a light powder so it doesn't rub off on your clothes during the day.

When it comes to fall colors, think about rich, earthy tones like deep plums, burgundies, and chocolate browns. These shades are perfect for creating a smoky eye or filling in your eyebrows.

Finish off your fall makeup look with a pop of color on your lips. A bold red lipstick is always classic, or you could try a trendy burnt orange shade. Whatever color you choose, just make sure it complements the rest of your makeup. And don't forget to exfoliate and hydrate your lips beforehand.
